We have been welder fabricators for over 30 years. We are based in Devon and travel all over to deliver the finest quality work and to work well within timescales and budgets.

We have the ability to take on coded work, site work and even design your steel projects.

Rob E Broomfield - Qualified and Experienced Welder and Fabricator

​

30 years experience working for and in the following industries: 

  • Agriculture - repairing heavy equipment and fabricating farm buildings

  • Quarries - maintenance of all types of quarry equipment from conveyors to rock crushers also worked in different countries maintaining open cast quarry pipework

  • Food industry (including abattoirs) - steel fabrications

  • Saw Milling - producing high quality saw milling machinery distributed worldwide

  • Railways - Boiler work on steam trains for the North Somerset Railway

  • Chemical plant pipework (Coded to ASME9 6G)

  • Construction Sites - Involved in many site projects for some of the largest construction companies in the UK and Europe conforming to strict Health & Safety Standards

Skills:

​

  • Experience in all forms of steel profiling, cutting and bending

  • Experience in design and building balustrades, fire escapes, gates, fences, balconies (stainless/glass, Juliet, Steel and ornamental) and stairs conforming to Part K Building Regulations.

  • Welding undertaken:- MIG, TIG, FCAW, MMA (Stick Welding) on all types of material: Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminium, Titanium to name but a few.

Current Qualifications:
 

  • Valid/up to date CSCS Card and SSST Training.

  • Currently Coded to BSEN287 MIG & MMA all positions.  

  • Willing to get coded to any specification.
